I am studying for a Pulmonary exam.

Currently freakin' out about becoming a nurse.
Scared to go on REAL job interviews.
Scared to be responsible for peoples' lives.
Scared.

Excited to be going to U of I tomorrow (as usual) to visit boy.
Going to a vintage store, a tea shop, and a free trade shop with him.
Boy is cooking me dinner tomorrow night - food with a french theme... whatever that means.

when i was in the philippines...

i met RUFIO from the movie Hook with robin williams.

the real rufio!!!! i was on a boat out of a small island called boracay and we were on our way to the mainland where the airport was. we are sitting there and on walks RUFIO and the sister from SMART GUY! rufio and that chick are dating. we talked to them the whole time and then i pretended to take pictures of my mom an dad and snuck them in the pics. ill post when i get back but i was freakin' out cuz my brother and my friend from school both dressed up as him for halloween last year and here he was sitting in front of me in linen pants and a linen shirt and his classy shades. it was crazy.

im meeting up with my friend joey frmo school here in sydney! he is studyihng abroad in NZ and visiting hte land down undah for a week or so! crazy!!

ive always had the theory that the gilmore girls people based rory's life off of mine... here's proof...

rory started off the show sophomore year of highschool dating dean, the all american, bring home to mama type of boy... (aka mike). they dated and had this cute innocent relationship... and broke up senior year of highschool first semester just like we did.

then, rory met jess. jess was the boy in the leather coat, who drove a fast car, who didnt follow rules, that had the parents worrying a little bit. (aka dylan) their relationship was put on hold when jess left and went to NY. (aka dylan leaving for the army).

rory goes to college the same time as i do. after awhile, things with jess completely end (aka dylan and i ending soph year).

rory meets logan, a smart, successful, man of wealth and talent. (aka jarrod). after trying the casual thing, they get into a real relationship. and this summer, logan is going off to a foreign country, so they cannot be together and the next time they plan on seeing each other is xmas. (jarrod is going to japan)

so yes, the creators of gilmore girls are following me right now. wtf. so for those of you who watch the show, if rory gets married, you better go and buy me a present, cuz chances are, ill be getting hitched too!

so ive been in love with nickel creek since highschool. lisa and i used to sing to the cd on our drive to cls in the morning. i never thought they were popular enough to go on tour. i was wrong.

NICKEL CREEK (not nickelback) came to UIUC tonight and Shley and I got in for free!! sweet.

they are more amazing than i ever had imaged. they are a bluegrass/folk band, but are so talented its sick.

i have a crush on the lady of the band. she is amazing, cute, and shy. i lust for her... or really for her talent.

I'm just passing my time while these 2nd graders do their power point
and typing exercises. Can you believe that? 2nd graders
doing powerpoint? insane. My kindergarteners do powerpoint too,
so crazy to me.
We are staying in a cabin on an island called Sugar
Island. THen every morning we get in our vans and suv's and
drive onto this ferry that takes us to the mainland, where
the school is located.
In the mornings I work with kindergarteners and the
afternoons with 2nd graders. the Kindergarteners are
adorable. I already have a favorite, he is attached at my
hip, and named Griffin and has an earring in his left ear!
He is hilarious.
Today we had a drum dance social. The kids dressed in Regalia
as their outfits are called and danced around the beating drum as some
of the kids in the culture club sang and drummed along with one of
the teachers.
Later today we are going to regalia making class and hopefully
ill be able to find me some mocs. Tomorrow we have language class,
maybe ill learn something useful.
Well, im on the teachers puter, so i better get off. peace yall

spring break! oh yes!

im leaving for UP Michigan in an hour or so. The little native american children await us. Im a little nervous. I hope the people in my group are fun. eek.

apparently we are having trouble with a criminal background check... we are meeting in 10 min. i hope the fact that i got a drinking ticket and was in jail for it when i was 18 doesnt pose as a problem... oops!

im excited for my asb trip, but at the same time not. its volunteering so i am not expecting loads and loads of fun. im going to spend most of my week volunteering and in our off times i will be studying for my huge orgo exam that is the monday following break (cruel, right?!)

i am not too too excited just because its a group of ALL girls and one guy. the one guy is the boyfriend of one of the girls there. i dont know if i can deal with a week with just girls. meaning... im going to be doing a lot of orgo this week. no big deal

i dont know if i wrote about this already but shley and i are both doing alternative spring break, she working with cats, and me working with native american children on a reservation. i am going to be volunteering at a school or something of the sort. im excited to see their lifestyle. and maybe score some mocs. haha jk.

umm.... its 3:17am, i have an 8:30am doctors appointment that i am NOT looking foward to... i dont like going to the doctor, i just want to work with them.

bah. i cant sleep.

no fun.
